About Me sections are always so hard to write. It would probably be easier if I was cooler.
What I am is a super chill, laidback Type B person. But like, also whittled with anxiety and ADHD so kind of Type A in that I like plans and order too? I also consider self-deprecating humor an art form.
On a more "professional" level, though, wedding work is my heart. I come home with my face hurting from smiling every time. I'll definitely cry if you write your own vows too. Guaranteed.
My favorite part of the wedding day (other than when I get to use my film cameras) is usually the reception, though. The couple is riding that newlywed high. They're relaxed and ready to throw down on the dance floor with their friends and family. That moment is my favorite. As someone that prefers to shoot as candidly as possible when I can, that moment of the wedding day is so free.
As a photographer, I live for the messy, authentic and real stuff. Give me your sloppy first dances. Bring me to your offbeat venue. Let me document that one uncle waaaayy too drunk on the dance floor. I will love your wedding day all the more for it. 💖
